Scopa has been a debate coach at the highest level for the past 6 seasons. He successfully aids in the operation of one of the largest programs in the country. His students have championed TOC, Harvard, Yale, University of Florida, Berkeley, and Princeton among others. They have achieved over 100 bids to the Tournament of Champions and demonstrate consistent elite performance. Specializes in Philosophy, High Theory, and Theory

Spencer Swickle debated for five years at American Heritage Broward/Plantation. He won the TOC, Harvard, Yale, Sunvite, the Tradition, and FFl states. He accumulated 20 bids to the TOC. His debate interests include theory, moral philosophy, and postmodernism kritiks. Outside of debate, he enjoys playing video games, basketball, and listening to music! Specializes in Philosophy and Theory.

Spencer Orlowski is a national and international champion in college LD. He has coached middle school, high school, and college national champions in LD. His students have received over 100 bids in PF & LD and won the TOC in LD. He offers sessions focused on K debate, Policy, Theory, PF, Oratory/Info, and Lay debate. 

Jane is a junior at Harvard College, studying Government and History. She debated in LD for three years at Immaculate Heart High School in los Angeles, where she also previously coached. She accumulated 10 career bids and won or reached finals of several bid tournaments. Her primary debate interest is Policy-Style arguments.

Chad has been involved with college NFA LD for two decades. He has coached seven champions in ten years for WKU debate. Chad is available for drills focused on policy style debate. Reach out if you are interested in college debate!

In policy, his team Berkeley Prep RV ranked 1st on the coaches poll. They Quartered the TOC 3 times, ranking within the Top 10 speakers twice. RV also championed/
finaled tournaments such as Emory, Michigan, and Glenbrooks. In LD, his students accumulated 50+ bids and won the finals of Glenbrooks and Stanford and had students reach the Quarters, Semifinals, and Finals of the 2025 TOC. 

Kevin is a sophomore at Stanford who loves debate. In high school, Kevin competed in policy debate for Peninsula High School with his twin, Devin. He won nine tournaments, including Berkeley, the MBA Southern Bell Forum, Greenhill, and the David P. Baker Cup for Season-Long Excellence in Policy Debate. Kevin had 21 career bids across policy and LD. 

Vontrez White debated for four years at California State University, Fullerton. He made it to deep elimination rounds of several tournaments, culminating in quarters of the NDT and semis of CEDA. He has also assisted in coaching students on late elimination rounds of tournaments at the TOC LD level. While he enjoys most arguments in debate, his favorite arguments are criticisms that relate to race, gender, media, capitalism, and high theory. Outside of debate, he loves hiking, reading, video games, and trading card games.

Riley debated for 4 years at Cary Academy, achieving 9 career bids, qualifying to the TOC in his junior and senior years and being the first debater ever from his program to qualify for and break at the TOC in LD. In his senior year, Riley reached late eliminations at multiple bid tournaments with results including 1st speaker and semis at Glenbrooks, championing Valley, finals at Grapevine, and semis at Yale.

Mac Hays is a Fulbright Taiwan Debate Coach and a Lead Public Forum Coach for the Argument Institute. He recently graduated from Brown University, where he studied International Affairs and Chemistry. Mac joined debate in 2016 as a competitor in Public Forum, in which he championed several tournaments and placed 4th at NSDA Nationals. In college, he competed in American Parliamentary Debate, in which he received an award for the most successful competitive career in his graduating class, placed in the top 3 at APDA Nationals for 3 consecutive years, and was the top speaker of the tournament in 2023. Mac has been coaching various formats of debate for the past 5 years and his students have championed several major tournaments including the Harvard and Yale invitationals, and, most recently, debated on the finals stages of both TOC and NSDA nationals in Public Forum. Mac has coached for 9 different summer programs, including the Institute for Speech and Debate and the National Symposium for Debate, and was the Assistant Public Forum coach at American Heritage Broward.

Mary Abi-Karam debated for five years at American Heritage, earning bids in both Public Forum and Lincoln-Douglas. She was PF champion of the Aaron Thomas Invitational and a finalist at over 15 national and regional tournaments, including Yale and NSDA Nationals. In LD, she placed 3rd in the nation for lay debate speaking at NSDA Nationals. A four-time NSDA qualifier with Premier Distinction, Mary has coached for two years as a lead instructor at NSD Flagship, a classroom coach for Potomac Debate, and the former program director for All-American, where she also coached high school Model UN for a year. Mary is currently a junior at Georgetown studying international politics and philosophy.

Fiona was a debater at Cary Academy. She earned 12 bids (7 gold, 5 silver). During her career she semifinaled the Yale Invitational, Laird Lewis, and Harvard Round Robin, octofinaled the Cavalier Invitational and GMU, broke at Glenbrooks, Harvard, and Emory and champed GMU. Her specialties are K debate and lay debate. In the past, she coached at Outreach Debate, NOVA, and Break Debate. 

Bashir Eltyeb debated for three years at Iowa City West. He Semi'd the TOC twice, top spoke the TOC, semi'd Mid America, quartered Minneapple and Blake, and accumulated 9 bids to the TOC. His primary debate interest is K debate, but Bashir is also well versed in theory, technical substance, and lay debate.
